One more ski instructor joins our team in Dévoluy and it's Sébastien Mascot, an instructor with a lot of experience on the technical level as well as on the Dévoluy domain.
Born in the Gorges du Verdon, our new ski instructor learned to ski just out of the cradle! He started in the resort of Seignus d'Allos next to La Fou d'Allos from a very young age, an entry into the world of skiing which then allowed him to make his career in Ski Club and then older in the Alps pro committee. The logical next step was of course to start the course to be a ski instructor at ENSA in Chamonix. Our ski instructor from Dévoluy left the Southern Alps to settle in Haute Savoie, then in Savoie in Courchevel where he taught for 18 years. In the meantime Sébastien obtained his monitorat in 2000. With the arrival of a Russian clientele on the domain, our ski instructor from Dévoluy decided to learn Russian, which allows him to be at ease in English as well as in Russian if the occasion arises!
Installed for more than two years in the Dévoluy area, Sébastien is eager to resume his activity as a ski instructor after a season off due to the covid 19.
Our ski instructor from Dévoluy is eager to get back on his skis and especially to find a clientele to whom he can pass on his pleasure of skiing, pass on what he loves, his job and the values that surround him.
Sébastien likes to pass on his profession, he taught in ski club to be able to pass on the teaching he had when he was younger. Regarding the teaching of alpine skiing, Sébastien likes to teach beginners as well as more experienced people. For our ski instructor of Dévoluy, transmitting the passion of skiing and the desire to ski and have fun is the basis of skiing for him. Our ski instructor of Dévoluy but an important point on the technique, he wants to transmit this technical knowledge to make the practice of the alpine ski more pleasant thereafter.
